How to make a paper flower lily
Hi everyone, I just want to show you how to make these super easy paper lily flowers, which were part of the Acts 2:46 project. I’ve been meaning to and planning on sharing handmade miniature tutorials, and hopefully, you will find inspiration on this page in our Lord Jesus Christ. These flowers were originally made by an artist I watched on YouTube named papercraftsall. I added my own little touch to this cute craft and made so many!
Gather your Materials and Let’s Get Started
• Paper and pencil
• Craft foam balls
• pencil/ color marker
• Exacto knife tool
• Paper clips
• Craft jewelry beads of any kind
• Glue
• Scissors
Let’s Make Step-By-Step
First, you want to take your paper and fold it in half. Then draw a two-leaf shape with a stem along the border of the fold of the paper.
Next, cut the outline of the two-leaf with a stem shape and open the folded outline you just cut out. You should have two shapes. Use the side of your scissors to fold the petals downward to create the effect of the flower lily's curves.
Once that is complete, we’ll now move to the foam balls and take your exacto knife to lightly poke holes around the foam ball. Take your desired colored marker and you can color in the foam ball.
After, cut out a piece off from your paper clip and take another piece of paper. With the paper, we’ll cut it into a rectangular shape to cut small slips of paper to place our foam seeds. The cuts should be in tact on the border of the paper. At this step, you can choose to use a colored craft paper or what I did was use a colored marker to color the rectangular shape paper.
Now, let’s take some glue to put on the edge of the rectangular paper and wrap it around the paper clip.
Then take the two shapes and wrap them in how the petals adjust and play around with it until it looks like each petal is on top of each other synchronizing in a good positioning.
Glue the foam seeds and your choice of jewelry bead to the top of the slips.
Finally, color the petals and at the butom of the flower with a colored marker. And it is complete!
