Embracing the Calling of God

Hi there my lovely internet friend! My name is Eunice Tavares. I am a 24 year old Guatemalan-Mexican American missionary artist based in Orange County. I was studying architecture in college. I had plans to transfer to university but my plans came to an end when I had my encounter with Jesus Christ. I was struggling with hidden sins watching pornography, masturbating, and lying until Jesus Christ rescued me.

Shortly after, God gave me instructions to begin an art business. This is where Olive Studio was born with my miniatures hobby that I have had since July 2019. I am living out this promise I vowed to God to have this business be free to exemplify that the Kingdom we hope for is far greater to run after than aspiring to build material empires on this Earth.

As I grow in my faith in Jesus Christ, I want to warmly invite you into my safe, comfy, and humble craft space where it used to be just me in my head lost in doing led by the Holy Spirit, singing praises and seeking God’s presence. It’s really about real life where nothing is perfect and that’s okay because in a world of brokenness and endless noise we can find true freedom, hope, and peace in Jesus Christ. I want to encourage you to answer the calling on your life from the Lord to live out this walk of trusting faithfulness that relies on a firm hope.

This is a place to come find comfort in the love of God who gave us a free gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ, who gave up His own life to die for our sins on the cross to overcome death once and for all. No sin is too big or too far gone from being redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus and experiencing a transformative change of mind and believing again in dreaming and hoping for a peace that satisfies found in Jesus.
