Embracing the Calling of God
Hi there my lovely internet friend! My name is Eunice Tavares. I am a 23 year old Guatemalan-Mexican American missionary artist and prophetess based in Orange County. I was studying architecture in college. I had plans to transfer to university but my plans came to an end when I had my encounter with Jesus Christ. I was struggling with hidden sins watching pornography, masturbating, and lying until Jesus Christ rescued me.
Shortly after, God gave me instructions to begin an art business. This is where Olive Studio was born with my miniatures hobby that I have had since July 2019. I am living out this promise I vowed to God to have this business be free to exemplify that the Kingdom we hope for is far greater to run after than aspiring to build material empires on this Earth.
As I grow in my relationship with Jesus Christ, I want to invite you on a journey of design and life experiences of how the Lord inspires me through miniatures to spread the gospel. My biggest heart cry is for you to experience art and aesthetics from a deeper prophetical lens in alignment with biblical principles rooted in love. I am on assignment to be your Christian greeter (in the spiritual realm, I’m a gatekeeper.) I’m hoping to encourage you to answer the calling of the Lord in your life to live out this walk of trusting faithfulness that is so worthwhile.
I want to give all the glory to God through the creations I handcraft because I wouldn’t even be here today writing about having a business of my own if it wasn’t for God who has redeemed me by His mercy.
Outside of making, I’m found singing my heart out to God, experimenting in the kitchen to make the most flavorful and colorful dish, I LOOOVE trying out new arts and crafts hobbies even though I’m not consistent in keeping them, and putting together cute pinterest inspired outfits and putting on makeup as if I’m going somewhere when in reality I just stay home. I want this place to become a hangout space for comfort, encouragement, and inspiration to feel less alone because we are all going through something but to know that all things are possible with God.
